Thanks for your basketball recruiting updates. I do not have premium info on any other sites so I have no idea what is happening with regard to basketball recruiting so thanks for your updates. You are the man! I just found out how to send a message this way a couple days ago LOL
Curious about some local kids. I coached track at Moeller for 20 years. Why no interest in Sam Ragland? Why all the excitement about Sam Hubbard? He reminds me of Vada Murray (Moeller/Michigan in the late 80s) in that he doesn't like to hit. Decent speed, but I don't see the quickness for college safety. Linebacker? Sure tackler, no question, but he's not a head banger. Both are great kids
I apologize again about all of the posts, I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share what I had heard. As always, feel free to ask anything about any rumors you've heard regarding UF recruits/etc. I do know Dalvin Cook is pretty much gone from their class and Ermon Lane among others are looking around as well.
The thing I know for certain is that Foley and Machen intend on keeping Muschamp right where he is and that there will be changes made on offense and extensive changes. What I do not know for certain is how will their mindset change over the next 7-10 days.
I have heard at one time or another that every offensive coach will be gone, and the only two defensive coaches not mentioned as being gone by any rumor were T-Rob and Lawing.
As we move on into the next week to 10 days, we will know exactly how things are going to be next year. By midweek next week and probably sooner, we will have final say on the head coaching spot. I would bet by Sunday we have something official ona new OC on the way and then less than a week later have an answer on who the next one will be.
I also believe personally that we don't want to become an Auburn here, A program that is synonymous with angry big money boosters calling all the shots on what happens with the football program. That isn't to say that the masses aren't correct here, just that we shouldn't let things play out that way.
Just because this letter was written on Tuesday, doesn't mean a different letter couldn't happen at any time for the next week or so. And I say that because the public heat on this situation is likely more than anything I can remember.
First of all, Foley doesn't write that email to these 20 or so money Bulls if there is not some split among them about how they feel about the Muschamp situation. That is to be expected given the current lay of the land. What I infer from this as well is that the upper level of these Bulls must very well be amenable to the situation.
Jeremy Foley emailed the top of the top of the boosters sometime early Tuesday, it was a group of about 20 or so Bull Gators.
Foley's message to these Bulls was that he and President were totally behind Muschamp and that he will be retained as the coach next year. The message also indicated that there will be big changes on offense.
Not necessary to share with anyone unless you'd like to, but I thought I'd just go ahead and paste what was said word for word. Hope all is well on your end and Happy Thanksgiving.
Wasn't quite sure how to send you a private message on the new format, but I got some credible information on what's going on behind the scenes with regard to Coach Muschamp and thought I'd share with you the latest.
