WR Terry Glenn (All B1G, All-American, Biletnikoff Award, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl Champion, R.I.P.)

I was cruising around YouTube looking at old games while recovering from COVUD shot and came across a couple of good copies of Terry Glenn in 1995.

If any of you are too young to remember this or if you are old enough and time has faded the memories like it did to me, invest the time. It's worth it.

Hard to describe how dominant he was.

Terry Glenn was my favorite Buckeye growing up. I was 7 years old in the 1995 season. I was drawing helmets, memorizing the roster, and pretending to be #83 in the side yard.

What's cool for me: is watching my 7 year old son loving Jeremiah Smith. Drawing the helmets. Memorizing the roster. Playing as JJ when we throw the ball around the yard (or the living room).

Indoctrination complete.

The Browns were gone... so I followed Terry to the Patriots when he got drafted. I had blue and white Glenn (and Bledsoe) jerseys. Terry played in the Super Bowl his rookie year, with a big kick return, and lost to the Packers. I can remember watching that game at my parents friend's house in Lewis Center, when Lewis Center (like Hilliard) was in the middle of nowhere to me.

Then the Browns came back, and I stopped following the Pats.

Big mistake. I was *in* before it would have been championship chasing.

Stupid kid. Fucking Browns. I hope my son chooses better.

(And now you know the rest of the story)
