College football is all about cycles. It just so happens this 2008 class and TP are showing who they are. Opponents will have to prepare for one of the most potent offenses that Ohio State has ever had for the next two years. Can't wait to see what this team looks like at the end of the year. Look out.

The one thing that surprises me about Pryor is we still haven't seen him break a long TD run. I was expecting his first year for him to pop one around 50 or so but nothing. He had a chance yesterday but Posey blocked a man off to the side and the one on his hip tackled Pryor.

On that run, I just started laughing my ass off as he got to the sideline. It was already over. He jogged in the last 20 yards. Kid is an unbelievable athlete.

I just wonder how good he really is at basketball? Never gonna see it at OSU, until maybe after his senior football season. Would be awesome to see him come in and help Thad out in the NCAA tourney!

Pryor's big day earns him Big Ten honor

Terrelle Pryor had a headline-grabbing game on Saturday ? he was part of six touchdowns in the 73-20 win over Eastern Michigan -- and it turned into an award-winning performance today, since he was named the Big Ten offensive player of the week.

The junior quarterback threw for four touchdowns, all to Dane Sanzenbacher who equalled a school record with those catches. Pryor also ran 53 yards for the Buckeyes? first score and hauled in a 20-yard TD pass from running back Jordan Hall, his former high school teammate at state champion Jeannette, Pa.

It not only turned out to be the highest scoring game in the 10-season Jim Tressel era at OSU, but also the most points scored by the Buckeyes since they put up 83 against Iowa in 1950. It was the ninth highest scoring game in OSU history.

On the day Pryor amassed more than 300 yards total offense, hitting 20 of 26 passes for 226 yards, rushing for 104 yard on seven carries (his second 100-yard game this year, the first coming in the win over Miami on Sept.11), and there was the 20-yard TD catch, the second of his career (the first coming in the Fiesta Bowl loss to Texas at the end of his freshman 2008 season).

According to the OSU sports information staff, Pryor has turned in four of the school?s all-time five games in which a quarterback has passed for 200 yards or more and run for 100 or more. Saturday also was his fifth game of more than 300 yards total offense, one shy of the six that the almost all-passing Joe Germaine compiled from 1996-98. Pryor also is fifth in school history in career touchdown passes with 40, moving past Greg Frey?s 37 accumulated between 1988-90.
