WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

To bad Teddy isn't in the running for the trophy a little more than he is.

Dispatch

Ted Ginn Jr . still isn?t answering questions about whether he plans to jump to the NFL after the national championship game, but the vibes seem to say he does.

Ginn stayed in the OSU locker room for a long time after the win over Michigan ? one family member admitted they had a hard time getting him out of there ? and when he met with reporters after that, he was in a contemplative mood. He was asked what he planned to do, and he declined comment, saying the team still had a championship game to play. When his father, Ted Ginn Sr., was asked about it this week, he also declined comment, wearing a big smile. It would hardly be a shock if Ginn went to the pros early; the Cleveland Glenville grad admitted that it was a possibility before the season.

He always has been noncommittal about his future.

From an ESPN chat:
Ryan (cleveland): whos the best reciever youve had to face this year?

Aaron Ross: Teddy. Teddy Ginn. Last year I just felt like he was a speedy receiver that can get past you. But this year, he can do it all. You've got to respect his speed. With Troy Smith back there as QB, that's a tough combination. But it's a close race with him and Jarrett. He's a nice receiver.
Great to see Ted getting some love...well, perhaps not love, respect from a CB who has seen some of the best WRs in CFB today.

That is a great compliment coming from the best DB (Jim Thrope award winner) in the country! Whichever NFL team gets Teddy will be very happy...would it be great if he and Troy play for the same team?!
:oh: :io:
