WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

santonio has been hurt a lot this year, and he was at his worst against PSU IMO
Why can't people just say "over on scarlet&gay's premium section they are saying...." or "on buckeye planet they are....."
this pisses me off a little, they are all high and mighty about their premium info, yet make it illegal to give any credit for info from other sources. not hypocritical at all.

That comment from Kirk did not upset me in the least bit. I do not think he was being mean, hateful, or rude at all. In my opinion I think he was just saying if he is not getting it done on the field we should players who are. I am not so sure that is a bad thing.

that concept is not a bad thing, but it was misguided. Teddy had a helmet filled with buckeyes before he started making the cynics happy with his play again. The kid has been making plays nobody sees, like being a dominant downfield blocker. He was out there for a reason (and benching him let's the D become more aggressive)

First off - I'm a HUGE TGII fan. I will admit though, that earlier in the season he had me worried.

It was never about talent, production, or statistics - I was more concerned about heart - that he was dying on the inside in our inept offensive schemes and horribly timed penalties.

He just seemed to snap (and rightly so IMO) when TS was missing him on blown coverage routes and simple slants.

Then we put him into the ever-predictable shot-Ginn formation without any real blockers and get upset when he tries too hard to make an East-West play and loses yards. Add on all the punt/ko returns called back for holding and the news papers calling him a ghost.

I was just worried that he had lost heart in all of that mess. I'm sure most players would have.

We're so happy to see you back and smiling! Congrats again Teddy!

I dont know the yardage without seeing a replay; but for me it was as soon as hit the initial seam. You knew the kicker was going to be on that same half of the field and Teddy would cut back across the field. In the open field there is not a single player in the country running him down; let alone a kicker.

:oh:
