Got it in the mail. They print it late on Monday, and I get it on Wednesday, almost every week.

Defenses are really eyeing him and putting a lot of energy in stopping him. Texas had 2 guys on him all night. They had their cornerback and one of their safeteys around Teddy all game long. I also think he is trying to do too much. Teddy trying to hit a home run everytime he touches the ball. He needs to settle down and let the game come to him a little bit more. If he does that I think he'll be fine and he'll excell for the rest of the season (as well the team).

Excellent analysis - and probably reflects the message the coaches are giving him day to day.

He now has the attention of D Coords.

He is not relying on his God given speed as his primary weapon. Could have scored a TD last night on the return if he just raced defenders to the corner.

He thinks he's Danny Terrio:)

I think this week we should brainstorm ways to get him involved. Lets go back to Shot-Ginn on a few plays against San Diego and see if a lil missdirection will work with him comming out from the backfield. How about we put Gonzo as the #1 Flanker (lets be honest, he has earned it) and find a different spot for Ginn? Lets line him up at QB for options, draws or even a pass play?

This is what the OC should be thinking this week.

Agree. Gonzo in and let's defocus(?) on Ginn. Get him some snaps at QB and some screeens and some posts.

exactly what i was thinking. if he doesnt cut back in on one of the kick off returns, we score and the moment shifts back our way.

Im serious, Gonzolez gets nowhere near the attention of Ginn, yet he plays just as hard, if not harder as the backup flanker. Gonzolez is a guy you can count on for key drives. He showed us he can make catches against Michigan, the low thrown first TD against OkSt, first down catches against Miami, a few key catches against Texas. Ginn has unbelievable talent, but it seems now that everyone is keying in on Ginn as the flanker, it doesnt work out for him there. Lets put him in his own position and allow Gonzo to take the start snaps at Flanker with Ginn on 5 yard screens so he can do hios own thing...We need to get him involved, the question is how.

Yes, I agree completely. Not saying we should give up on Ginn but Gonzo appears to be a more complete reciever at this point. I think TG is more dangerous but his pass catching and route running are not there yet. Let's get him under center a few plays, screens and some fly routes.
