WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (All B1G, All-American)

I don't know...are you sure his parents aren't from florida? Maybe his dad coaches track or football down there?
I still haven't figured out if we're talking about Ginn or not. If so, born and raised to play for his dad who coaches at Glenville in Ohio.

We all know how fast Miami was supposed to be, then they played the bux in Arizona and got burned a few times. Maybe there is soemthign to this florida speed thing :)

Let's not downplay their ability to get caught packing heat or fathering illegitimate children down there. There are few places who even dream of keeping up with their pace (where do you think all of these players are coming from?).

I am looking forward to the fake reverse or reverse punt return.

Does anyone know what kind of speed All-everything DB Marlon Jackson has? He was quiet last year because he played safety. I think we can expose their DBs again this year. l

Well I can agree that Smith wouldn't of seemed to play the same competition....
However Zwick hasn't exactly played world beaters here's just some points to think about.

Zwick- Cinncy (lost to Army), Marshall (about lost to Miami of OH, and lost to Troy), Nc State ( Huge disappointment so much for the most talented team ever), Northwestern (come on), Wisconsin (1st in big ten, but just did horrible.), and then Iowa (Good defense but couldn't throw a pass to save his life)

Smith- Part of Iowa (8-12 79 yards, TD), Indiana ( Beat Minny), and Penn State (2nd best defense in Conderance).

Now yeah Zwick has played more teams but Zwick only played 2 good defenses. Wisconsin/Iowa... Nc State got killed by a not very good Clemson/Miami Offense.

Zwick Faced the number 1 defense in Big Ten, where as Smith faced number 2 defense in the big ten. Difference is we have had a running game as of late in the past 2 games with smith in the game. Is it a coincidence that we started running the ball better with Smith in the game???Or maybe the team feeds off him?? I have no clue? we'll find out soon enough.

We'll find out soon enough though after the michigan game how good Smith is.

Michigan is vulnerable Deep this year....... So I think OSU can definatly get down field on them! Holmes and Ginn should be enough to stretch the defense of MIchigan.....

Okay...after watching Sunday Night Football last week...I miss CK more than I thought I would. He was such a gamer. You can't get much from Smith yet because he didn't need to pass against Penn State. Frankly if we don't need to pass against MSU that would be wonderful! I personally hope Smith doesn't need to throw more than 50 passes for the rest of the year. I think if we need to rely on any QB we also need guys like Ginn and Holmes to step up. Ginn is so fast. And he is so AWARE too. Holmes doesn't have that extra gear Ginn has, and Holmes seems to drop a few more balls...but Holmes is still one of the best in the Big 10. From what I see, Teddy Ginn may be the missing piece that this offense has needed to spark some good production. But...if we get up early, don't expect big numbers from the offense...instead expect a big game from the defense and special teams.
