WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

"With two losses on the schedule, I don't think I put together a money year for this team,"

I like the way he considers the team's wins and losses as the benchmark for his contributions.

He's been in the program 4 years, and whatever decision he makes is OK by me.

wow im honestly a bit surprised. if santonio left he would still be a star in our eyes but if he stayed for another year he would probably be the most respected guy on the team for his loyalty to the program. please stay holmes, young is so lets go back to their house next year and get some payback.

Santonio is an exceptional athlete, a great team player and a loyal Buckeye. The decision he is going to have to make will not be easy for him... Just the idea that Santonio hasn't ruled out a return for next season gives me a lot of satisfaction....It's a good example of the kind of young man and team player he is. :oh: :io:

He also sees troy getting more consistent. If he did decide to return next year, he would have even more options (more consistent passer, better running game - esp w/ CWells too, and a more experienced/developed WR corps to spread out the coverage).

I think he's gone, and has every right to do so. But 2006 looks infinitely brighter if he returns (Tressel without a great defense, he'd be forced to open up the playbook)

He has two kids and is being talked about as the top WR in the draft--I want him to go. As much as I love the Buckeyes benefitting from his abilities on the field, it would be awful if some kind of injury or off-year next season spelled his financial ruin.
