Chandler (AZ) Chandler High School

Wide Receiver
6-1
170 lbs
Class of 2022

Love this kid, his film reminds me a ton of Olave. Player description sounds dead on too:

“Lean, narrow build with projectable length and room to add mass to frame. Well-rounded pass-catcher with a knack for getting open. Fluid route runner who sets up defenders to generate space. Instinctive and creative in possession. Shows great body control after the catch. Good burst off the line of scrimmage. Very good hands and coordinated catcher who can reel in the ball away from his body. Technician on underneath plays and can weave his way through traffic. Could continue to add speed and physicality to his game. Potential multi-year starter at Power Five level and upside to garner looks from NFL Draft scouts down the road”

Burton in, two WR’s most likely to join him, commit to Buckeyes

As things stand right now I look for Hartline and the staff to target signing three 2022 receivers.

At this point the two receivers I have as most likely to join Burton in the class are Armani Winfield from Lewisville (Texas) and Kyion Grayes from Chandler (Ariz.). I have those two just ahead of C.J. Williams from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei in regards to most likely to end up in the Buckeyes’ 2022 recruiting class.

Grayes, who is an Arizona commitment, has told me on more than one occasion in no uncertain terms how interested he is in Ohio State. He talks with Brian Hartline, Ryan Day, Keenan Bailey and Mark Pantoni a lot.

The 6-foot-1 and 170-pound Grayes plays for one of the top prep football programs in Arizona and says the first school he wants to visit when the dead period is over is Ohio State.
