WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Frosh/WR of Year, All-American, 2025 Rose Bowl Off MVP, National Champion)

They're trying to act like spending $20 million on a team invalidates things, when one guy costs a quarter of that.
Dan Lanning has shouted as loud as he possibly can, from every mountain top in the northern hemisphere, that he has unlimited NIL and is prepared to use it. I have never heard him invalidate or disparage OSU‘s accomplishments in any way, shape, or form.

That's because his unlimited NIL got bug splatted when it mattered.

Ok? I never said he did.
Your entire premise was flawed. The “CFB World” is not offering $5 million. Oregon is offering $5 million. And again, they’ve never invalidated anything OSU has done. The haters, to whom you refer, are the media, and maybe Lane Kiffin. They aren’t offering JJ, jack shit.

Just say you didn't understand the premise instead of dragging this out.

The premise was that we're supposed to be ashamed of having to spend $20 million, yet other teams can offer up $5 million with no shame involved.

Again, you’re discussing media talking points, and projecting them on to the program that‘s offering the money. Makes no sense whatsoever.
