It's really a time-value of money problem. Invest even semi-competently and he is set for life already. The extra year or two of income must be very tempting, but the degradation of life due to the trauma is not worth it in the long haul.
I mean, really, if you are a Buckeye star of such magnitude, there is always fame and fortune where the alumni network has it's largest nodes.

It's both on Carr and the dude making the tackle. I read that was his 9th unnecessary roughness penalty in his career. Suspend him for the rest of the year.
