    ET has confirmed that Oscar®-winning actress RENÉE ZELLWEGER and country star <CELEB year="" name="KENNY CHESNEY">KENNY CHESNEY</CELEB> have tied the knot! The surprising couple were married on Monday on the beautiful island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where the singer has a home. In a short, 15-minute ceremony performed by a female preacher in front of a small group of family and friends, the bride wore CAROLINA HERRERA, one of her favorite designers, while the groom was reportedly barefoot. Both laughed and cried during the ceremony.

    The happy couple met at the Concert of Hope tsunami relief effort on January 15 and maintained a quiet friendship that quickly blossomed. The marriage is a first for both stars, although the 37-year-old Kenny reportedly broke off an engagement to another woman in 1999, three weeks before the wedding. Prior to marrying Kenny, Renée dated WHITE STRIPES singer <CELEB year="" name="JACK WHITE">JACK WHITE</CELEB> and her 'Me, Myself & Irene' co-star <CELEB year="" name="JIM CARREY">JIM CARREY</CELEB>. A spokesperson for Renée had no comment about the proceedings.
     
    I was just reading about them dating while I was in the checkout line at Kroger tonight. St. John is an absolutely beautiful place-not much nightlife tho.....as far as Zellweger goes, I'm not jealous of Chesney, Faith Hill is way hotter......

    I can honestly say that Renee Z. does nothing for me. She looked mildly decent at times in the movie Ed TV, but honestly I think she is homely in a lot of ways (by hollywood standards). Kenny C. cracks my shit up, he tries to be the cool, beach lovin country boy. He plays the part well for his fan base........ :wink2:

    Huh....WTF? Of all the girls that I that sweat his nuts why her? I know girls around here way hotter than her that would love to prevent some breast cancer for him ( see thread "What we've all been waiting for"

    Renee Z. was in Ed TV? I know "Dharma" played the lead woman in that...don't remember Renee. Anyhoo, she was hot as shit in Jerry Maguire, but has gone way downhill since. Luckily Ashley Judd is still occupying my attention, although I feel guilty that she keeps buying me a bunch of new toys.
