wireless x-box hookup problem

OK, I give up. I configured the damn remote wireless adapter like the instructions said, and it works very spotty. It shows the correct IP address, and the correct WEP password was put in when the set up disc was run, but still can't "find " it.

When I run my linksys advisor it is off and on at recognizing the 360 adapter. Usually, when it shows up in the network it works fine. For a while it would work after I turned the power off to the router and turned it back on. Now, is shows up on the lynksys easylink as being in the network, but on the actual 360 x-box it says that it can't connect to the network, and still says so after you hit the test connection button.

What gives anyone?

Running Vista btw

First of all, if I help you, are you joining our NCAA 09 dynasty?
I can confirm that the solution is definitely to downgrade to 1.00.06 firmware.
I'm seeing that suggestion from a lot of folks online. They are suggesting to downgrade the firmware on the router.
