no aj hawk?????? wtf!?! he played cb against purdue!! :P

going with whitner here. i think teams will throw away from ay when they can. expecially early in the season until the #2 guy steps up. whitner seems to read plays better than salley. not that i think salley is weak in this area in the least, just that sometimes it almost seems like whitner was in the huddle with the offense. i recall several times where he picked up on audibles and was jumping up and down pointing to the receiver who was about to get the ball. so uh yeah... whitner n whatnot. :P

Unitl I know who's gonna play opposite Youboty, I can't say. Whitner seems a good answer regardless of who gets the nod. I agree that Youboty gets test rarely (And if he steps up early (when some teams might test him), we won't see him thrown at again until he hits the NFL (think Shawn Springs))

Maybe he gets the nod, I just don't think SirJo will play corner. He's got Jack Tatum/Mike Doss (That is, big hitter Safety (I'd throw Anotine Winfield in that mix, but he was, of course, a corner.... ) written all over him.

And just cause I used Winfield's name.... if you made him Katzenmoyer's size, he would not have been allowed to play football because he'd have been lethal.

Youboty. I think he'll be put on the opposition's best WR, regardless of which side of the field that WR lines up, and thus will see more passes thrown toward him.
I agree Mili. Plus, he isn't that tall, so teams with tall recievers will still challenge him.

Youbouty is the obvious choice here. However, I agree that if the question is broadened to consider the whole defense, Hawk has a realistic shot. As we all know, the guy's a freak athlete who's always around the ball, and he proved several times last year by intercepting passes that he has phenomenal hands (including the INT he was robbed of by the hometown refs down at NC State).
