With the AL Central and Wild Card races so tight I'd like to see what everyone thinks will happen through the rest of the season.

I believe they will win the wildcard, the next 7 out of 10 games are with Kansas City, if they want it, they have the schedule to get it done.....

I'm just thinking that if they play well enough to get to the playoffs they will have to pass the W Sox. As of today the W Sox have 7 more games with the Twins and 6 with the Tribe. The Indians have to at least win both of those series to stay ahead of the Yankees, which would put them at most 2.5 behind the Sox. If the Twins can also win both series that basically makes the Sox lead in the central nothing. IMO the only way the Indians will make the playoffs is to catch the W Sox, unless the Red Sox or Yankees really tank the next 2 weeks. If the A's continue to play well against the Red Sox the Indians might have the second best record in the AL tonight.

I'm thinking Wild Card but am hoping for a Sox collapse. It would take that for the Indians to win the Central.

The White Sox collapse is in full effect as we speak.....I am trying not to get greedy, I will take the wildcard. Nobody will want to play the Tribe in the playoffs.

I am hoping for the Central Division Champs! Just like Exhawg said we have the schedule to do it and all we need is help from the Twins.
About the wildcard I think we have a great shot with the Yankees playing Toronto for 6, Baltimore for 8 and at Boston to end the year. The Key is for the Red Sox to collapse so the Yankees are close enough at the end of the season so that series means something. This way only the winner of the series will get into the playoffs and the Indians are safely in the wildcard thanks to the AL East melting down near the end. I just wish Boston and New York had another series besides the last 3.
