  • Just curious.

Myself, I started reading BP during the 2004 season, posting more leading up to the '05 season. Branched out to reading more on the scout/rivals boards in '05/'06.

    '99 I found the O-zone

'00 through '01 I was mainly at the BSB site and the old, old Bucknuts site

'02-'03 I was at Bucknuts with the motly crew that split off to BP

I came here after they got it up an running(let them do all the work and made sure it was going to make it first) and the rest is history.

BTW I did have access to the secret message board everyone jokes about back in '01 to early '02. It really did exist and they really would move it if they found out someone had access and leaked anything said there or if someone posted that wasn't supposed to. I got to follow the '02 recruting clsss from there and it was quite cool I must say.

Of course if there is one now, I'd be completely cool and not talk or anything if I was invited to lurk. :paranoid:

i used to read the vgs stuff on vanilla-gorilla.tripod.com. after a quick check that thing hasnt been updated since fall of 2004. i started posting here on 4/20/04 after lurking for awhile. we used to have member numbers i cant seem to find mine...

but the vanilla gorilla got me here. a friend of mine said he covered ne ohio hs football well. at the time 2002ish i started reading his stuff he would travel anywhere in ne ohio for the best game. cleveland, akron, canton, youngstown etc. every week and heck sometimes for a sat game with his brother. write ups were awesome and babe pics along with some flat our drunkardness. i have no idea how much he drank but hed get hammered and do his website.

I first stumbled onto The O-Zone back mid 97. Ended up becoming a mod a year or so later.

Found my way to the Buckeye Alumni Yahoo Group (was an alumni group in TX or AZ, can't remember which) that had a good bit of inside info at the time.

Posted on old pre-Scout PSU BWI board until the Penn State fans started becoming too annoying.

Posted on one of the UCLA boards (BruinGold maybe?) for a year or so before we played them in 99...and ended up being featured on their front page after the game for the nice things I said about them :p

Loved the pre-Scout Bucknuts when a certain individual swore up and down his site would never go commercial.

Ended up migrating to BP in 04 and haven't really paid much attention to the other boards since.

Can't remember, probably the ESPN boards whenever it was they got those up and running, 2000 or 2001 maybe. Haven't decided, but I may wind up going back there since their boards are easier to understand and the mods over there aren't elitist pr cks,

I started reading over CCI's shoulder in 2006 when I started dating CCI. I wanted to see what he was so addicted to!! Then, before the BP Poker Tourney last year, I signed up and started posting, so I could get to know some of the people I was going to actually meet. Plus, CCI said he's never seen a girl that cheered as loud as him during an OSU game.

BP in 2005... my dad and uncle told me about it. I didn't really get involved until 1) for some reason, they unblocked the site at work (early 2007), and then 2) I switched to a job with an office instead of a cubicle (sept. 2007).
