This sub-forum will be used for all HS updates and team discussion. Please follow the same rules that are in place for the recruiting forum:

--No cursing

--No premium info (bare summaries only with source cited)

--No bashing of any players or coaches
 
This forum is the primary place for the following:

1. Updates on high school games, including all-star games.
2. Updates on high school players who are not OSU recruits.
3. General talk about high school football, including rivalries, computer rankings, all-star teams, OHSAA rulings, etc.

Although the there will be some overlap with the recruiting forum, that forum will be the place for news relating to the recruits' college decisions. We feel that this new system will help to streamline the recruiting forum so that the threads will focus primarily on the "true" recruiting news - the schools which lead; verbals, silent verbals, and signings; official and unofficial visits; inside info; and that sort of thing.

I'm confused as to why all of the player updates are in this section and not in the recruiting section. It doesn't make sense to put Antonio Henton and Mike Hartline updates here when they already have a thread in the recruiting forum. I figured this place would focus more on high school teams than individual players.

Its my understanding that as a whole the board wanted the recruiting threads on the indivdual players to be "related to their recruitment" and not what they did this past Friday or Saturday night, or high school related, so in order to achieve that and also keep our dedicated posters informed of their high school info, a sub forum was created.

Obviously, there are two threads on the same player now, but this will allow for the seperation and also keep everyone informed of all aspects of a recruits achievements or updates.

There is no "wrong" answer here, this is the direction that was agreed upon to keep the board fluid and less jumbled.

We actually decided to change it to the current format...a thread on each school rather than each player. That way if you want to see what the Glenville players did, you only have to check one thread, rather than looking in each player's recruiting thread.
