Didn't FSU just get pasted by Florida? There's no way VT loses to that FSU team who looks like they're throwing any warm bodies they have out there.

I do have a strange feeling LSU goes down though... which then puts YET ANOTHER team at 2 losses that is VERY attractive and travels extremely well. Yikes.

Just to clarify the BCS #4 thing again (copy/pasted from another BCS thread):

The BCS #4 spot is an automatic bid only if #3 is a conference champ.

If #3 is an at-large bid, #4 is NOT guaranteed a spot.

This is a recording.

So if we end up 4, and Texas or UCLA is #3, we're screwed by ND getting the 2nd at-large bid.

If we are #4 and Penn St., LSU, VaTech., or USC is #3, we are guaranteed a spot. That's because USC wins that screwy Pac-10 tiebreaker.

I think there is a good chance that FSU can beat Va Tech. They have been looking ahead to this game for 3 weeks now and we see how they did in those 3 weeks. They have speed on D to stop Va Tech's run and Vick. I think FSU comes out on top in this one.

As for UGA vs. LSU, I think LSU is not as good as their record would indicate, and as for UGA they knew they were basically in the championship game, if they beat UK so they had no worries causing them to trip up after they lost to Florida when Shockley was down.

As for Colorado, just don't see it happening here unless Young has a very shitty day. I think once again Texas was overlooking A&M quite a bit.

As for UCLA, I think they could beat USC. They will be able to score with them and if they could force just one or two mistakes, they could win this game. You know they have been wanting this chance all year to end USC's streak. They hate each other. It would be like if we were winning like that scUM would just love a chance to be the team to knock us off our high horse, just like UCLA would love nothing more than to knock USC off.


So I am not sure what would happen if those games come out liek I predicted. We would jump up to fourth I believe, even if UCLA pasted USC. If that happened I would worry about UCLA maybe getting an at-large bid, b/c you know the pollsters would quickly jump onto that bandwagon. I think we could see a PSU vs. Texas NC game and we would play either Notre Dame in the Fiesta or USC in the Fiesta or FSU in the Orange.

The only game I would like to see more than tOSU vs. ND, would be tOSU vs. USC. I think the latter would be a better game with USC's offense vs. our defense; however, I think even if USC lost they still play Texas in the Rose bowl. Then again I am an idiot and dont know anything.

I think we will move to #5 after LSU loses. I don't think LSU is anything special and has gotten away with playing weak offenses and a crappy ooc schedule. Florida St. will get raped in the ACC Championship and so will Colorado in the Big-12 Championship. I think we have a really good shot at the Fiesta Bowl.
