remember when football was played where the weather couldn't knock you over? ahh....the good ol days.Illinois -4???
If I were a gambler, I'd be a wealthy man this Saturday. 30 degree temps and 20 mph winds at game time. Purdue is toast.

Looks like the ladies are the late game tonight so tune in before you switch over.Everyone needs to tune into that Ohio vs Miami game on Tuesday - after the Lady Bucks hoops game mind you - and check out Buckeye transfer Sam Wiglusz for the Bobcats. Kid is playing great ball
They failed again declined to call an obvious targetingPathetic ass referee and replay official in the CMU-Buffalo game. It was obviously a TD and now it's on the one and Buffalo is looking like making a goal line stand so CMU gets robbed of a score. I would have broken the tv if this was a Buckeye game.
Whats new right?
I was listening to college football nerds and they thought Young's shoulder was fucked up more than previously believed So much so they were discussing whether it would be best for his draft positio and Bama if he opted out of the rest of the Season. That could explain the O the D who knowsWas just posting something in Stroud's thread about how Krenzel mentioned on the radio a few year's ago that his bizarre performance against SDSU in 2003 was because he'd stayed up all night bingeing a show from a set of DVDs (that's what bingeing was back then).
I can't possibly know one way or another, but I suspect something similar happened with Alabama's performance at LSU last Saturday. DSA states categorically that it was a worse than average performance by the Alabama offense and the 2nd worst performance of the season by the Alabama defense. Both of these things take into consideration the quality of the opponent (that's what DSA does).
It is possible to follow the trends and conclude, along with everyone else, that the numbers we're seeing is who Alabama is becoming; that the wheels are following off. As much as I would like to believe that, I don't. I think people are too quick to shovel dirt on the Crimson Tide. They will not end up in the CFP this year unless something weird happens, but they are still a good team. At least I think so right now. I believe something is going on with that team that we don't know about. We may find out about it years down the road like I did with Krenzel; we may not. Or everyone else may be right and Bama is heading off a cliff. Either way, we'll learn a lot from their trip to Mississippi tomorrow.
So that we can all have the fun of seeing how neatly this lines up with DSA, the DSA prediction for that game is:
Alabama 40-49
Mississippi 20-28
DSA says that Alabama should cover. I don't bet real money and neither should anyone else in my opinion. But it will be fun to see if Bama is what DSA says they still are or if the wheels really are coming off.
