I'm glad I forgot to bet this one.
ITA have subbed out Buffon to start the half - presumably with an injury. The new keeper has just 6 caps. If Paraguay can manage three more touches in the penalty area over the next 45 mins. they just might test him. :tongue2:

It doesn't look as foolish, but that was as bad an error by the Paraguayan keeper as the one by the English keeper vs. the USA. It looked like a catchable ball too, instead he went for the punch and whiffed.

OK, well I bet more on Italia to win than I did on the under/draw combination, so I want them to score again, but as long as Paraguay doesn't score again I at least will have something to show for this game and come close to breaking even (or at least not get bombed).

Well Italy thwarted making it really tough on themselves by evening the line at the end. They should thump NZ and then will only need probably a draw against Slovakia to advance, though they should beat them too.
