If Scarlet can run the ball well (ie 150+ yards) they will probably win. Scarlet has a big advantage at QB IMO. Smith is best when he can run and won't be playing long enough to get in a groove anyway. From what I've heard from my sources TB has been a lot more impressive than RS this spring. Zwick will probably be able to put up some good numbers with Ginn, Hall, Frost, et al to throw to for the short time that he is in the game. Mo Wells is going to have to have a good day.

I'll pick Gray. Where's the vbet?

I just put a vbet on Scarlet, so it's up as far as I know.

Here it is...

Posted this in the other thread, i'm betting on Gray

----------------------------------------------------------------------

QB's = Pretty even but scarlet with a slight advantage. Troy and Zwick only getting a quarter and Troy being limited on running makes the scarlet lead very slight to me.

RB = Scarlet by a landside.

WR = Gray by a mile. Ginn and Gonzo cancel each other out, with me prefering Ginn a little anyways. Gray's supporting recievers kill scarlets in my prediction, although I'm a Hartline fan.

TE = A tie.

OLine- I'm shocked Whaley was the first Center picked. I like Gray better, but not by a lot because Downing has a restriction.

DLine - If Pitcock is healthy then I have it a draw otherwise Scarlet gets the nod.

LB = I like gray a lot better if D'animal can play, and still better even if he can't.

Corner = Jenkin and Amos should give gray the advantage here.

K: Scarlet by a little
Punt: Scarlet by a lot.
LS: Umm Gray?

Final: Scarlet 4 Gray 4 (Some half points and ties finalized my score on position.) So it looks pretty even to me.

Edit: The more I think about it the more I want to make the QB a draw. I think Scarlet has the Special Teams and the running backs and that's it. Gray wins.

My Picks

On O-Zone they say the following people aren't playing or have restrictions:

Prior to the draft, a number of players were designated as either medically unavailable or players whose playing time would be limited. The players who will not participate in the spring game for medical reasons include Kirk Barton, Doug Datish, Tyson Gentry, Devin Jordan, Shaun Lane, David Lisko, Antonio Pittman and Kyle Ruhl on offense. On defense, Mike D'Andrea, Curt Lukens, Quinn Pitcock, Ryan Williams and Doug Worthington are all out due to medical problems.
Additionally, David Patterson is limited to playing the first quarter only. Jay Richardson, T. J. Downing, Anthony Gonzalez, Ted Ginn will be limited to play in the first two periods only. Troy Smith and Justin Zwick will play just one period and will be required to wear black, no-contact jerseys.

I agree with your assessement above me here, but I have to say Scarlet has the advantage with LB, S, and P. That put me over the top.

Pitcock won't play.

Good call on the safety, I agree I overlooked that position when breaking it down (imo). I agree safety is stronger on scarlet; Linebacker we will agree to disagree on, and punter well you don't have any arguement here :)
