About 30 minutes after Ohio State’s 104-60 beatdown of the Campbell Fighting Camels, head coach Jake Diebler sat down and spoke to the media about the game and the elephant in the room — Aaron Bradshaw.

The sophomore forward who transferred to Ohio State from Kentucky in the spring was not available on Friday night and is not participating in any team activities, per a university statement. The statement said that “per federal privacy law” Diebler cannot comment further.

When asked, Diebler referenced the statement, but acknowledged that he understood that there are more questions right now than there are answers. He was unable to comment on if there was a timeframe for his return, if Bradshaw needed to do certain things to come back, or if he would re-join the team at all this year.

Meechie Johnson and Evan Mahaffey also spoke to the media briefly about the 44-point win and Bradshaw’s absence. The two were unaware that at one point in the game Ohio State had connected on 10 consecutive three-pointers.
