I was waiting for a line to start the thread. I hate that they often don't show up for bball until a little over 24 hours before the tipoff.

I'll add the over/under when it shows up.

One bookie site says: Finding a way to quantify the home court advantage is very difficult for college basketball. Sonny Moore, a provider of power ratings for almost 35 years, fixes the home court advantage at 4.5 points.

Basically that means they are saying #4 Ohio State is 1 point better than #9 Florida; and if they played at the Schott, Ohio State would be a 5.5 point favorite.

My biggest concern is how we plan to guard Kenny Boynton. I love Aaron Craft, but no way Craft can keep up with Boynton's foot speed. This could be a tough matchup.

Another sleeper for the Gators is Erik Murphy. This kid is long and talented (6'-10") and could be poised to break out for Billy Donavan's squad.

On the other side, I don't see anyone on the Florida team who can compete inside with Lauderdale, Sully and Thomas. We should own the paint.

Game starts at 4:00 our time. I am starting to get a little bit of a sore throat. And a slight fever and a headache. And a cough. I may need to leave the office early tomorrow, for the welfare of my co-workers, of course.

Which is exactly what we want. The Gators arent the greatest shooters, and neither is Boynton (at least not last year). I am all. over. this.

I went in with Florida. Sorry, but it feels a lot like 2006 game at Gainesville. Too early in the season for this young team. Root with your heart, bet with your head.

LOL. Yeah, feels a lot like that except UF isn't returning all five starters off a national championship team with three of them being lottery picks. There's just a slight difference between that and returning five starters off a bubble team with no first round picks.

Starting 3 seniors, a junior and a frosh is not young at all. Sure, we play a lot of young guys, but I like our mix of vets and youth.

I guess we have more vets now than 06, but that team had Lewis, Harris, and Butler (not to mention Twigs). Also, I get your point about the quality of the Florida team... Trust me, I'm going to be as happy as anyone to lose my 100,000 vpoints.
