I have misplaced my pants.
I get bored a lot at work. A lot. So recently I made up this system of grading the teams for BCS bowl games.
The system works like this: teams get 1 point for each BCS bowl game that they make it to, and 2 more points for winning that game. (Don't worry about finding a calculator - that's 3 points for winning the bowl game, and 1 for losing it.) If that game happens to be the national championship game, the points are doubled.
Currently, Ohio State and USC are tied for first at 17 points each. Each has a 3-0 record in non-championship BCS bowl games, and a 1-1 record in national championship games.
17 Ohio State (4-1)
17 USC (4-1)
14 Miami (3-1)
14 Oklahoma (2-3)
13 Florida (3-1)
13 Florida State (1-5)
12 LSU (3-0)
9 Texas (2-0)
7 Tennessee (1-1)
6 Michigan (1-3)
6 Wisconsin (2-0)
5 Nebraska (1-1)
4 Georgia (1-1)
3 Auburn, Boise State, Louisville, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Utah, Washington, West Virginia (1-0)
3 Virginia Tech (0-2)
3 Notre Dame (0-3)
1 Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Syracuse, Texas A&M, UCLA, Wake Forest, Washington State (0-1)
0 Hawaii, Kansas (Will get points this year)
