Our church has no bells.
I've got to be in court in Orange County, CA tomorrow morning and a flight out of LAX tomorrow night at 11:30. Eight hours to kill in LA. I've never been there. Any thoughts?

Go see the football stadiums at USC and UCLA. UCLA has a very beautful campus.
The Universal City Studios tour is cool and so is Disneyland.
If you feel like tanning a bit, you can also do the whole Venice Beach thing (get the tee-shirt).
I prefer the beaches further north of town, they are less crowded or commercial. Look on Google Planet for Kanan Drive coming out of Thousand Oaks, north of LA. That heads to the beach through some awesome canyons and gives you a whole different impression of LA. The beaches north of where it intersects the Pacific Coastal highway will be relatively free of people and nice.
Watch the freeways Rugby, you can spend your days on the freeway near UCLA or heading out to Disneyland. Enjoy it and get some California sunshine!

You could go to Hollywood for the Chinese Theater and the teenage streetwalkers.
The LaBrea Tar Pits are unique and worth a brief visit.
Or walk along Venice beach to see all kinds of interesting folks.
But admit it, Rugby, you're going to ride around in a cab, killing 5 or 6 people before you leave town, aren't you? I mean, the thread title gives it away.

Didn't see much of LA. I got to the beach once, but the one hour court appearance turned into a two day trial. Fortunately, I won and am now undefeated as a trial lawyer.
I think I'll do a Rocky Marciano and retire now. I'm thinking of starting up a website to sell people college football recruiting news that they can get for free if they'd just hold their shit for an hour or so. If I could just get someone famous to baptize me...

Driving through part of Beverly Hills is fun, just to see the unbelievable decadence. I spent a week out there around rich folk, and it was still astonishingly more expensive than most of OC.
If you've never been out there, it's cool to tour the hollywood strip, with the Chinese theater and the footprints there.

wow Rugby.. looking at the thread title... thought you were either OJ or a serial killer coming out of the closet... that started hearing voices coming from the neighbors cat telling you "IT'S TIME TO KILL"... and just so happened you heard the voices when on your way to LA !!!
