Tiger Woods (Offical Thread)

screw how much money to let your wife walk in...

how much money would it take just to get you to hit it at all????

Everyone has a price. I'm not sure what mine is, but I would bet if someone gave me a bag filled with $10 mil cash to nail that chick I would probably do it.

I was going to add this to the thread earlier, but decided not to, but at this point, why not.

When I lived in Scottsdale, I knew a girl that worked for the Phoenician Resort as the head concierge. She was called by room service one day as they didn't know what to do do when they found a champagne bucket turned over with lines of cocaine still on it, when they came to pick things up.

Now this was probably at least 6 years ago. At the time, I thought that it probably wasn't Tiger's, but some "party girls" he picked up. But, now, I think it is becoming evident that Tiger has been living a completly different life than we thought.

Take it FWIW

Couple of quick thoughts:

1. Anyone disagree with this?
Number of whores Tiger was smashing > Number of Major Championships held by Jack Nicklaus.

2. We aren't quite there yet...but give this scandal another 7 to 10 days and I'm expecting so-called leaders of the African American community to come out in support of Woods and call anyone who reports on the story as "racist"

3. The most lucrative method for an ex-champion to make big money is in course design. You're a 100 million dollar developer and you're building a golf resort in Florida. Are you putting Tiger Woods' name on your resort course?

No, this is a tragedy. His family will not recover. So, he's on his way to divorce court. Forget all the "we're sticking by him", his sponsors are looking at their alternatives right now. Golf will suffer. His playing has an incredible impact on viewership.

Tiger is an industry based on an image built up over decades and tarnished, perhaps irreparably for many folks, in just a few days.

And you can bet that his dominance of golf is over.

I agree with most of this, but I could see him going through the rough stuff then spending all of his time on the driving range in a Gollum-like state plotting his on-course revenge on everybody. His core (only?) value is on-course domination and I think he might just refocus on that and dominate even more in the end.

If Woods is overly dogged by this, it becomes a race issue, imo.

I don't think so. Not a lot of love for him there IMO.

Exactly, he turned down many opportunities to "speak out" and the leaders weren't real happy about it.

Perhaps - but they could leverage current support for future appearances by Tiger. We'll cover for you now but then....

Knowing full well that nobody in the media will call them out as full of shit.
