Can't wait for this game. TW09 is so sick, this game will just improve on that. The above link seems to prove that, just that description of the new feature. Should be very solid with all the feedback from the gamer/golfing community. Awesome.

The new motion will make this gamie insanly real. They will be able to tell if you open up the club and if you are trying to hit a slice, draw, or if you hook it. They were also saying that if you have your wii hooked up to the wifi, that the day you are playing an event it will check the realtime weather and that will be the conditions you play in. So lets say you are playing beth page on a tuesday afternoon and it is raining that day then it will be raining in the game. They have said that will then also effect the way the ball reacts on the course, wet means the ball won't travel as much once in the fairway or be slower on the green, and dry conditins can lead to more bounces, faster greens etc.

I continue to love the new features they add every year. That being said I also hate how every year they leave a few little bugs in the game that seem to me would only take a few minutes to fix. i.e. when you hole out in 09 you have to wait about 2-3 seconds for the game to catch up.

I'm also not a real big fan of the dynamic attribute system. I like the concept but hate how you can have one bad round and lose more than you can make up in a round. And also how after every round you have to do the drills, they've become quite mundane.

I don't have 09 nor have I had it because I hate the commentary/firestone is a DLC, but I love the idea and concept behind the attribute system. I like that 10000x's more than how they used to do it in 08 and before that (where you would gain attributes and they wouldn't go down at all). To me it would add to the difficulty and would make me like the game much more.

I've been playing the absolute shit out of TW09 for the past two weeks. Haven't put it down. I will say I do like the dynamic attribute system, my putting was at a ten in the early days, whereas my short game was at about 3 1/2, which saved me alot of the time after bad short shots. It is frustrating when you get a round with lots of wind and you hit a few bad shots then, boom, your accuracy or short game drops by like 1.5 points. It takes some time to build it up and lots of consistency, which is realistic, but damn, my short game was better than 5 but because it's so low I have a hard time improving it. Once you get your levels up and some cash to help with you merch, then it really isn't too hard to keep the attributes up, but by then you've also logged alot of hours and know the game pretty well.

I'm curious to see how this new putting feature goes. If it weren't for the putt preview I wouldn't make 45% of my putts, unless I chipped within inches of the hole. I'll have to see some live action of it instead of just a description, where it sounds rather difficult.

I'm also stoked to know that SVP will be on the commentary, seems like it will be much more intriguing and probably alot funnier. I like the change from what it used to be, regardless of if it's good or not. It just shows the producers are taking steps to improve the overall gameplay.

This game should be fun as hell regardless. And if not, summer is just around the corner so I'll just hit the links for real if I can't compete on the sticks.

That's the part I hate the most. Especially when you hit one bad shot from 100yds in. Lets just say you hit a poor shot that ends up in the sand on the front right and the pin is back left. That puts you about 15-20 yds away. Well if your next level is at an average of 8ft from the pin, you better drain them the rest of the round otherwise your short game attributes go down faster than a hooker with no legs.

I am pretty sure I will be picking up a Wii for this game. The Wii version will have 27 courses and the 360/PS3 versions will have 16 +2/3 DLC courses. Plus with the Wii Motion+, it is supposed to make your swing even more realistic. Can't wait!

Yeah the motion plus sounds sick. Wonder if they will package it as part of the game or if you will have to buy it seperate, because I know there is a tennis game coming out that is going to use the motion plus also

I believe they are doing a package deal of $59.99 for the motion+ and Tiger 2010.
