Things to do/Sights to see in St. Lucia

I have never stayed over night there, I have visited on some cruise ship stops. I did a rainforest canopy zip line tour that was fun. You take a tram to the top of the mountain to get to it. It included about 9 or 10 zip runs and then you repel down from the last tree (platform). I think it was this one:

I also enjoyed scuba diving by the Pitons.

Scuba Diving Destinations: Turks & Caicos

I thought that the "drive through volcano" was kind of lame. You see (and smell) one bubbling hole of sulfer you have seen them all.

Pretty much what BigWoof31 suggests. My wife and I got married on Saint Lucia. Amazing time! I would also add the pool bar at the Sandals Regency....great place to spend a lot of time .

Acutally we lucked out. When we arrived our taxi driver (Henry) was great. Along the way to the resort (hour drive) we stopped at various local bars and at scenic view points. We took his card and called him after we had been there for 5 days or so. He took us and two other couples all over the island. It is worth spending a half day or so with a local that can just drive you around.
