The Perfect Movie to get ready for this game.

Well im sitting here, and i got an hour and a half until the game, and I pass the time as quick as i can, so i was thinkin of a movie to watch and I picked out the perfect move

THE WATERBOY

Aren't they always? The movies always take away the edge...like in The Natural, Roy Hobbs strikes out...the movie made him out to be some loveable hero.

haven't read the book, but books are obviously always better. still, I enjoyed FNL a lot, especially since the big football movie during my senior year (and early college days) was Remember the Titans, which is disney fun but not my idea of a pump up movie.

i have the book Friday Night Lights and can't seem to ever get through it, i keep skipping around the book, it must be because i watched the movie before reading the book


hears a hint, don't watch the movie first, if it is a book read it and then watch the movie, Friday Night Lights has a different feeling to it while you are reading it that you don't feel when you read books like Junction Boys, that was a great movie, but luckily i read the book first

i saw that on TNT one day in july, they were running like 3 or 4 football movies that day, including "Rudy" and if my memory serves me right, "The Waterboy"
