what's also sweet is how gonzo was able to keep his left hand and forearm between the ball and the ground, thereby not entertaining the possibility that the ground aided the catch. god bless holmes and ginn, but i think that gonzo (and frost, relative to his size) has the best hands.

i have a serious question. if you go back and watch the clip did anybody else notice that our fans were louder than michigans? it literally felt like a home game. given they were prolly a bit stunned but after gonzalez caught that pass that place erupted. i didnt notice it at the time because i was erupting too. :osu:

Our fans were even louder when Pittman scored...if you didn't know it was at the Pig House, you'd have thought we were the home team.

i just spewed my coke all over my computer while i was over at the ESPN forums. a michigan guy started a thread on the "controversial" call of gonzo going out of bounds and he kept on making a case that the refs hat was on the ground because he went out of bounds. anyways an ohio state fan replied with this and i lost it::rofl: :slappy:

"the ref threw his hat on the ground because he was pissed off that he made himself look like an a$$. calling bullsh!t plays all day and they still lost"

The part I liked best was AFTER Gonzo hit the ground. Even though the play was over, he was not thinking of celebrating. The first thing he did after hitting the ground was move his hand to cover the point of the ball. He was not thinking, 'wow look at what i just did'; he was thinking 'ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...ball security...'
