I have to admit, this is the first time ill be down at the 'shoe..I know, i know, im not a true fan LOL..Im going down for the weekend, actually i think im going by myself. Im gona be like a lost puppy roamin around by myself.

I dont really know where the best place to watch the game is, or what all goes on at the horseshoe on gameday. I know the ESPN crew is gona be there, id like to go see that.

Basically if someone could make up a schedule for me that would be awesome LOL..I should be arriving in columbus at around 9pm on friday.

yea thats what i figured i would do..just kinda join the crowds..

So far yes im going by myself, i told myself that i wouldnt miss the weekend for anything and that meant even if i had to go bymyself..

thats why im looking for things to do..and my name is brad, not tibor LOL

Go to the Skull Session...2 hours before kickoff (at St. John arena across the street from the Shoe)

Hineygate is a good stop, it is on Lane Ave by the Hotel

Kegs and Eggs if you are going to be up early :P

Game Day usually films in front of St. John/OSU Ice Rink BTW...it'll be packed, so if you want a good place to stand I wish you luck

BP tailgate is going to be going on

Other than that, just walk around and make friends...and remember, the fun doesn't stop after the game

Oh, and it's Five Heisman Winners, 6 Heismans :)

The Varsity Club is right on Lane Ave beside campus...not hard to find...its about a few blocks west of High IIRC (ie, on the same side of High as campus)

There is a BP Tailgate thread, but its a bit of a mess so hopefully someone will post something nice and concise in here about that

Have you been to campus before? If not, you might want to check out campus a little...walk by Mirror Lake, the Oval...see some of the architecture like Orton Hall...stroll through the Numbers Garden...have some fun and take campus in :)

i can say that ive been to campus before..just never made it to the 'shoe..

ive been to mirror lake before, actually ive passed out on a bench at mirror lake before LOL

so i take it everything is in walking distance?? meaning the BP tailgate party, the gameday crew, varsity club, and the places were all the vendors sell the shirts and food and what not??
