Nice reasoning. Well, yeah, tOSU's WR room has more and better talent than most(all?) teams DBs. See where many are projecting Tate to have a monster year, well, that's because DB1 & DB3 will be doubling JJ, and DB2 on Carnell. That leaves DB4 on Inness coming underneath, which will be a huge mismatch, and Klare on a hesitation route mid-deep across the middle, and would/will be some huge gainers. Also agree that our OL will give the QB time to make the throws. Sour grapes, but do wish there would have been a body bag game or two before this monster game right out of the box....Go Bucks!

Less than a FG in a home field like The Shoe means their numbers most likely show OSU slightly less than a push.

Two huge public money teams like OSU and Texas is never going to swing wildly unless there are some major injuries announced from camps.

I bet it stays inside a FG one way or the other (the line that is) just to keep the action flowing and as balanced as they can get it.

They also had the Thorpe award winner on him too. That said we couldn’t get out of our own way that game. We never really got going it seemed like.

Hopefully we are practicing against zone a bunch that’s for sure

Fair enough. And I'm not expecting to have 8 for 150 every game. I get every game is different, there's other good players, etc. But for him to have 1 catch for 3 yards in any game is ridiculous. I don't care what kind of defense they are playing

When you've got Egbuka, Tate, Henderson, and Judkins..........

I get it. But if teams wanna throw 3 people at Jeremiah Smith and give us wide open everybody else? Yes please.

Just having Klare run the seam or deep middle, puts JJs corner on an island if Klare lines up as the H.

That's who I say we attack with first to get the safeties hesitating. Slay keeps them out of the box for the run game. This kid is no shit the Ace up or sleeve and an incredible addition to this Offense. May have just made it unfair, considering we have the safety who could take him 1 on 1 as well.

Quick teaser just popped up on Fox "Ohio State. Texas. The biggest season opener ever."

The hype certainly wont be lacking but I don't see it as close as oher people do. I am just not afraid of their Offense but they could surprise me I guess

I still predict, as of thie date and health of the teams, Buckeyes win 31-17. And that 17 might be the most points we give up all season before the playoff run.

Hopefully can put a couple of scores up early, which follows the championship run formula- see Tennessee, Oregon, Notre Dame. Put Texas on their heels, forcing them to throw deep and often, and let our 'center fielders' make some plays. tOSU could possibly have the deepest DBs in the nation, and hopefully this game will be their coming out party.
