Week 5 is upon us and it is time for tBBC’s first top ten of the season. Unlike the pollsters that make up the AP and Coaches poll, we here at tBBC choose to wait and get a glimpse at a few teams before we come out with our collective rankings. Unlike the initial rankings, Ohio State was NOT a unanimous top team in the country with us.
1. Ohio State (9)
2. Michigan State (1)
3. TCU
4. Ole Miss
5. UCLA
6. Georgia
7. Utah
8. Notre Dame
9. Clemson
10. LSU
Others receiving votes…..Baylor, Alabama, Florida State
This weekend’s tilt is led by a top ten battle as Notre Dame travels to take on Clemson. OSU and Sparty will open B1G play with Indiana and Purdue respectively while TCU hosts Texas. Georgia will host Alabama in what could be an early season playoff elimination game and Ole Miss will travel to the Swamp to battle undefeated Florida.
