After Week 10, I (78 correct picks) have a narrow lead over Joe (75), with Scott (74), Charles (73) and Patrick (73) close behind.

All B1G teams are in action this week except Penn State and Wisconsin. We’re down to 3 regular season games before the BTCG. This should will be an interesting finish.

Maryland @ Michigan State

Patrick: MSU – SPARTY gets back on track versus arguably the worst team in the B1G.

Mike: MSU

Ken: Michigan State – Maryland’s passing game is worse than Nebraska’s, so MSU should hang on for the win.

WVa: MSU – Sparty pulls their head outta you know where …

JC: Michigan State — I like Joe’s assessment. Look out Maryland. Connor Cook will be on fire. MSU big

Charles: Michigan State — MSU is going to be fired up after last week, I feel sorry for Maryland

Joe: Michigan State — Connor Cook, meet the worst secondary in the Big Ten Conference.

Scott: MSU – Sparty rebounds

Brandon: MSU – Michigan State should be able to take out some anger before getting their mind right for Ohio State.

Michael: Michigan State. – I would not want to be Maryland this week

  • Unanimous for Michigan State.

Ohio State @ Illinois

Patrick: OSU – the IlliBuck will continue to reside in Columbus after J.T. returns to the helm and OHIO STATE puts a beat down on the Illini.

Mike: tOSU

Ken: Ohio State – The defense is hitting its stride. J.T. Barrett is back to run the offense => a close win at Illinois.

WVa: OSU – Buckeyes win big on the road and extend nations longest winning streak

JC: Ohio State – Illinois is no sneeze. But I look to see the Buckeyes fire up with J.T. back. Buckeyes win in a needed statement for the CFP rankings.

Charles: Ohio State – Illinois has been a surprise this season and they’ll make OSU fans nervous for a while, but J.T. and Zeke will be too much for the racist mascots to handle

Joe: Ohio State — THE ILLIBUCK IS THE MOST ILLUSTRIOUS TROPHY IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

Scott: Ohio State – Barrett returns, OSU rolls

Brandon: OSU – The Buckeyes roll with J.T. back in the huddle again.

Michael: Ohio State. – I don’t like playing at Illinois in November, though.

  • Unanimous for Ohio State. I’m shocked as well.

Purdue @ Northwestern

Patrick: Northwestern – This is a tough game to pick, Purdue has been Jekyll and Hyde this season and NORTHWESTERN finally won a game past September. I think the Cats get this done at home

Mike: Northwestern

Ken: Northwestern – It’s Purdue, so …

WVa: N’Western – Nerds need this win to continue chances

JC: Northwestern — Frankly, I want to say the Boilermakers. But my hunch is N’Western in a squeaker. So with that said I must go with the Wildcats.

Charles: Northwestern — After their surprise win over Nebraska, Purdue returned to Earth last week and the Kitties will make sure they stay there.

Joe: Northwestern — I like the Wildcats at home, because Lake Michigan is > the Wabash River.

Scott: Northwestern – Northwestern does, Purdoesn’t

Brandon: Northwestern – Purdue is not good no matter how good they looked for one week against Nebraska. Northwestern wins easily.

Michael: Northwestern. – Should handle Purdue

  • Unanimous for Northwestern. I see a trend developing.

Michigan @ Indiana

Patrick: Indiana – HUGE trap game for TTUN. INDIANA has been on the cusp of winning games each week this season and I think this is the week they finally get over the hump. Kevin Wilson gets a win at home to lessen the heat of his seat.

Mike: TTUN

Ken: Michigan – I agree with Charles, below; this may be an entertaining game to watch. Action packed, I believe.

WVa: Mich – uggghhhh but I hafta

JC: Indiana — I just can’t pick TTUN. As I mentioned in previous weeks, I am not in the hunt any longer, so it seems, therefore, the decision to go with the Hoosiers makes it sweeter. Besides, allow me to rationalize – Sudfeld, Howard, and Wilson are the real deal. I would be tempted to predict an upset even if I were in the hunt. Indiana …. Indiana … Indiana….

Charles: Michigan – Nate Sudfeld should have some fun with the Michigan secondary but the Wolverines will have more fun with the Indiana’s lack of anything resembling a defense.

Joe: Michigan – I love Kevin Wilson, Nate Sudfeld and Jordan Howard. I don’t like the Indiana defense, 5 straight losses, and trying to get the ball back and make plays in the air against the Harbros

Scott: Indiana – IU with a monumental upset

Brandon: Michigan – Indiana has played OSU, MSU, and Iowa tough and lost all of them. I don’t think they have anything mentally left to give. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a rout.

Michael: Indiana. – Call me crazy but I’m feeling an upset

  • A slight lean in favor of You Know Who, but an upset is not out of the question.

Nebraska @ Rutgers

Patrick: Nebraska -NEBRASKA is not as bad as their record indicates and they finally got a bounce to go their way. The Black Shirts go to NJ and short of a let down after Sparty last week, they’ll get a win while experiencing the cannon guys.

Mike: Rutgers

Ken: Nebraska – Nebraska is god-awful, but the Children of the Corn catch a scheduling break.

WVa: Nebraska – Cornhuskers finally continue a winning streak

JC: Nebraska – The Cornhuskers surprised us all. I like this team. Rutgers is, well, Rutgers …. they don’t belong. The Cornhuskers will win 2 in a row.

Charles: Rutgers — Trying to figure out Nebraska this year is impossible. Both teams played really well against MSU but have looked awful at other times. I’m going to go with Rutgers because, well, why not.

Joe: Nebraska – Oh man, a win over Michigan State and a loss to Purdue in the same season. The problem is that Rutgers has three wins this season. Over an FCS opponent, the 0-9 Kansas Jayhawks, and the Hoosiers — who have lost five straight.

Scott: Nebraska – Nebs win again

Brandon: Nebraska – Corn People. This game is really a toss up. Both have looked okay at times and dreadful at others. Maybe the MSU win will get Nebraska going, no matter how fake it was.

Michael: Nebraska. – Whatever the over/under is. Take the over (Note: Currently 64.5)

  • A lean to Nebraska; however, we’ve all seen them play this season, so who knows?

Minnesota @ Iowa

Patrick: Iowa – Everyone seems to think the Gophers are going to be the ones to ruin Iowa’s perfect season but I’m not buying it. IOWA gets this game at home and has a ton of momentum heading towards a possible trip to Indy and will inch one step closer to their goal on Saturday.

Mike: Iowa

Ken: Iowa – Speaking of Children of the Corn, Minnesota (2 TD dogs) may be Iowa’s last hurdle to an undefeated season.

WVa: Minny – Gophers finally win one for JerrySota

JC: Iowa — I like both teams here. But MN has no prayer. The Hawkeyes will dominant.

Charles: Iowa — Minny keeps coming close against ranked teams but just can’t get over the hump, they won’t do it this week either.

Joe: Iowa — Tracy Claeys is the type of coach that I love. Leaves it all out there and isn’t afraid of what people think. Unfortunately that can bite you in the butt late in games. Tracy Claeys has a big butt.

Scott: Iowa – Iowa survives scare

Brandon: Minnesota @ Iowa – Iowa. Minnesota will keep it interesting but Iowa will pull it out. I would not be shocked if Minnesota pulled it out though.

Michael: Iowa – Iowa wins a close one

  • This may be Tracy Claeys first loss as non-interim head coach at Minnesota.
