Survival pool advice

So I am in a survival pool, and I need a pick for week 1 by Thursday. I have narrowed it to:

Chicago over Detroit
Arizona over St. Louis
Miami over Buffalo
SD over KC

Thoughts? Ideas? Best option?

The other games you are picking I actually like the upsets happening with KC and St.Louis with decent chances of winning.

Personally I would pick Cleveland over Tampa Bay, but that might be the homer in me.

Yeah, I'm afraid of Detroit...if the Martz experiment is a failure CHicago will get it handed to them in this game. No way to tell. The rest are road games...which are a bitch to pick, even Miami, because even playoff teams often only go 5-3 or 4-4 or even 3-5 on the road.

One more I am looking at...Tennessee over Oakland. I know the Raiders are better, but I don't think they can stop Johnson. At all.

Yeah, I like Oakland too this year, but Jimmah is smart. West coast team playing in the east for a 1pm start is normally money in the bank.
