  • I'm sitting in traffic on I80 only six miles from home and I've moved 100 yards in the last 30 minutes. No local radio stations are saying anything yet. I'm in a construction zone right now so who knows what it could be. One good thing is the amount of people that have given me the thumbs up for the Muck Fichigan sticker on my rear window :)

Wow we just moved about 25 yards!

    Thank god for the blackberry!!!

Update: heard on the radio that there is a major wreck ahead. I haven't moved in 45 minutes :tibor:. Doesn't look like I'm going to make it home before the kiddo goes to bed at 8, stuck between the contruction temp walls so I can't even turn around and try another route.

but i actually did do some work while i was sitting there. responded to a few emails, called a few reps back so i didn't have to do it today.

News reported this morning that one person was dead as a result of the wreck

Traffic backed up for miles, according to ch21. I guess the guys wife was life-flighted to St. E's. The prognosis for her is not very well either.

That construction over the reservoir sucks.

yes, it does suck. i've been waiting for something like this to happen, you've got a super busy section of roadway and you've got lane shifts that move you 50 feet to the side a few different times. i'm shocked that a semi hasn't rolled yet.
