Hey guys,
Im in a charity club here on Columbus campus, and I was thinking about setting up a StarCraft II tournament to help raise money for our cause. Itll probably be like a $10 fee, and Im not sure what I can do for prizes just yet. Im also just starting to plan this out and hopefully trying to squeeze this event in before the quarter ends (aiming like May 20 or 27). I was just wondering how many of you guys here would be interested in participating in this?
 
You should find the Wings of Liberty thread... Admin might merge or sticky?

Kinda late notice - plus just putting up a solid tourney with location, people, proper equipment isn't just by a snap unless you have serious backing.

If I was more near C'bus I'd most certainly be down. On the other hand if this does materialize I'd still be damn tempted to make the drive.

yah thats pretty sick, i just found out about MLG Columbus last night after making this thread. I have people that could help me with getting a place and advertising this event. As for the equipment and stuff, I figuered there wouldn't be much involved besides the computers themselves since StarCraft II doesn't have LAN capabilities. Im just afraid that the schools wireless network can't handle it, and don't know how much games I should have going at a time.

Apparently I also found out that BuckeyeLAN is hosting a party this weekend with StarCraft II as one of their listed games. Ill probably be checking that out and see how they are running it, cuz it seems like they know what their doing.
