I have heard reports that Freeman may be moved to Will... which is interesting considering our good chances on grant. I suppose Laurinaitis already has experience at the SAM too, I just pegged him as a Will next year due to size vs Freeman

It's been stated that the staff sees him as a SAM. It'll be interesting (if Larry comes aboard) to see if everyone stays at the places they are currently listed on the depth chart. If Larry is a SAM, that means Animal, Jr. and Marcus Freeman are there as well, where only John Kerr is really listed at the WILL, and he's more of a MIKE.
where did you hear this from? No way laurinaitis moves to MLB...Could Grant come in and actually start? In my opinion he could. I think that is one of the reasons why the staff offered a JUCO LB. I heard Laurinitais could be the possible starter at MIKE. Grant-Laurinitais-Freeman as starting linebackers...hmmmmm

I would have to say it is from a pretty good source...pm me if you care.
The reason why I put credance in the source is because at least Duane Long mentioned Larenitais as a possibility at the MIKE in December and after the Fiesta Bowl.Ain't happenin'...

Everything is a "possibility", but if the staff didn't plan on having Laurinaitis at SAM, why did they pick him to fill in for Carp in the two biggest games of the year? No doubt that he has the ability to play MIKE, but he won't, at least not this upcoming season (barring multiple injries at MIKE).
