Was invited by gregorylee over at spartantailgate.com

OSU is my second favorite Big Ten Team. Because my favorite team usually under-performs, I sometimes live vicariously thorugh OSU. Even got an OSU t-shirt. My in-laws are from Cleveland, and I spent a lot of time in Worthington/Dublin myself.

I still hope MSU wins this weekend, but it doesn't really matter much. We ain't going nowhere in my lifetime, and I'm still very young. Sad.

I'll be rooting for you every week except one, and especially when Meatchicken gets their annual Buckeye Beatdown.

GO GREEN!!!

welcome, SS. Grew up in Worthington myself, now marooned here in lower Michigan. I feel bad for the Sparties and their coach. Hopefully he will resurface somewhere like Tri-State University in a year or two. I genuinely like the guy and all his weird ways!

Please allow us a couple weeks before we feel too sorry for MSU, though. Too many good Buckeye seasons have been damaged by unexpected Spartan victories. Probably the only thing that's going to get them fired up is to be back home and playing the number one freakin' team in the country... so we Buckeye fans, while we expect a win, won't rest until the W is in the books.

Good luck on the rest of your season, starting on October 21st!

Go Bucks!

Everything UNB said.

Those with any memory at all are going to be very nervous untill this one is over.

Not sure why anyone would ding you for that first post so I'll give you some green. Don't get stupid and make me regret it :wink2: .

Thanks!

I had another post where I simply predicted that the least likely Buckeye would have a huge game against MSU, and it got deleted. Don't really understand why.

If predicting postive outcomes for OSU is against some unwritten forum rules here, someone please let me know.

You'll find me to be sincere, honest, and realistic over time. In fact, some might even suggest that I'm outright darn funny at times.

At any rate, looking forward to a healthy (for both teams) week of preparation for next Saturday.

My prediction: OSU-38 MSU-17

Looks like it was merged into the existing game thread...

Yep. Found it. I am conditioned to really look right past sticky's as they are usually meaningless drivel (where I usually post) about server downtime, shirts for sale, fundraisers that I can't go to, etc....

We have game threads, but they start when the game does. Too bad our team seems to start thinking about the game only at that same time. A little preparation and review of the rules by the coaching staff might do us some good.

For example, you CAN have 11 players on field goal attempts. You CAN use a timeout late in the 2nd half, up by 3 scores with ND pinned 3rd and long inside their 20. You CAN use your running back to carry the football when playing ball control. You CAN use a regular formation and not a shotgun/option offense during monsoons.

C'mon now why would you want to? Thats why we love John L. Smith. Just kidding. Hope for an injury free game, and hopes that you all can resurrect your season after this weekend. The more Big 10 teams we can get into a bowl game...the better we look.
