How much are tickets in the south stands worth? I may be able to get a ticket in the south stands, and I want to know what to offer. How is the view from the south stands (i have never been to the horseshoe).

I've sat just about everywhere in the stadium, and south stands is the worst location IMO. You can't see the scoreboard, the angle in the end zone is bad, and many of the sections are populated with undergrads. For the scUM game, I wouldn't pay any more than $150 for a south end zone seat. Then again, I'm sure there are people who would pay more. Yet I also know people who have told me that they would not pay anything for a south end zone seat.

Is that a good seat? How much should I offer?

that's almost all the way at the top of the south stands.. Personally, I just want to be in the stadium for the game, but from what I've seen on ebay, south stands are going for about $330 today. I expect this to drop a bit on Saturday.

I paid $300 apiece for 35B, row 17. I know that some seat critics on here act like the south stand seats aren't the best, but quite honestly if your anything like me........you just want to be in the stadium on Saturday. I would have sat on the top of the stadium for all I cared, I just want to be a part of the history. I hope that everyone who is there on Saturday shares my passion, if not......I hope that they stay home, because their ticket is better served by someone who is going to make some noise.

My advice to you is buy the seat if it seems like a decent deal to you. I've watched some fantastic games in recent history in the south stands (NC State 2003, Marshall 2004) and quite honestly, I had some of the best times sitting there with all the other "seat peasants".

You'll also tend to notice that a lot of people in that area are more rowdy, because they don't attend a lot of games. I don't know of a bad seat in the Horseshoe.....I guess that is the prism that I look at it through...
