Slow Download Speeds

Years ago when I first got dsl I used to download at a 80/KB a second clip. A few months ago it abruptly slowed down to a 20-30/KB a second clip. I've been over this with my ISP several times with zero results. They always tell me to reset my modem, shorten the line from the computer...nothing has ever worked. Anybody know what may cause this?

Take the cat 5 cable out of the back of your computer and shake it so that all of the false/old bits get out of it.

Once that's done, re-connect it.
