Sit In Corner A or Near Middle C?

OSU_Buckguy

Head Coach
I've never sat in C-Deck before. I can find tickets at about the same price for corner A-Decks and near middle C-Decks. I'd like to have a good view of both sides of the field; however, I also don't want to be too far away to get a decent view. Is the front of C-Deck dramatically different than the back of C-Deck? Seatdata is good, but it's still difficult to gauge. C-Deck looks okay in seatdata, yet does it look that good in person?

Thanks.

i'm assuming you've sat in c then. i don't mind sitting higher up if the view is decent, though. it's just that i've never been in c and don't know if it's just too far away to catch some detail. on the other hand, being close but seeing only half the field worries me. thanks for responding.

I agree just get yourself there. I'm willing sit anywhere except B deck only due to the pillars, but ideally I prefer to be as close to the action as possible. I'll be in the south stands for this game due to an unfortunate recent ticket casualty.

C is underrated. I was in the corner in C pretty high up for Texas and I had a blast.
oh, i think i'll have a blast anywhere in the stadium... except the restrooms. how is the view from c, though? again, it looks fine on seatdata, but i don't know if that's the best representation. also, is being at the front of c drastically different from being at the back of c?

again, many thanks.

It depends if you're a diffrerence maker or not.

Basically, if you're gonna add enough to the disruption of the scUM offense by making noise you owe it to the Buckeyes to sit low and be heard.....

If you're not much of a screamer you should sit in C deck.

I know I need to be in a Lower level because I bring alot to the table, noise wise.

Unless you're in the middle of the field, I would take C deck over just about anywhere. You get a better perspective, and you can actually see the play develop.
thanks, iron. i'm seeing some reasonable ticket prices for seats in the 16-18c area. now the question is: is there a big difference between sitting near the front and back of c? thanks.

Dude, everyone in that stadium is going to be screaming on Saturday.......regardless of where their sitting. That place will be rocking.

Lower 16C & 18C are GREAT seats! I nearly guarentee you'll LOVE anything in those sections Row 15-20 or lower, zero co:scum3:plaints. (it goes up to Row 42 and gets to be a bit of a hike the further up you go, obviously) It is not too far re:scum3:oved fro:scum3: the action at all in :scum3:y opinion. C Deck provides a GREAT view!

Is it better than up really close in A Deck or AA? That's personal preference really. Anywhere in the 'Shoe is going to be rockin for this one...but I'd take ':scum3:iddle C Deck' over 'corner A Deck' if given the choice though.

To actually see the whole game, low C deck near the middle of the field can not be beat. I sat first row AA in the endzone last year for a game, and while it was great to be right on field level and close to the action, you couldn't tell if a play went for -5 yards or +15 yards because of the lack of elevation.
That being said, somehow my freshman year i lucked out and got 17AA, row 7 season tickets.. 30 yard line, right behind the buckeyes bench. Awesome to be so close, and you could actually see most of the plays from there.

For this game, i kinda want to be closer to the field.. I want to be more involved with the noise (huge difference between c deck and AA in noise level) and for the potential field rush as time runs out

No doubt.... but the point is, if this particular guy isn't gonna scream and yell alot than why not sit where you can see the game better.......

Naturally the sound from C-Deck isn't as direct as the sound from A-Deck.......
