We had reasonable questions about how good these Buckeyes were. Now we know.
After losing over a dozen players to the NFL just months ago, football analysts are in awe of the level to which Ohio State is currently playing.
Scott Van Pelt spent over two minutes on SportsCenter’s “1 Big Thing” talking about how impressive the Buckeyes are at simply reloading the talent that left, and seemingly avoiding an understandable regression with so many young players — over 40% of the roster are freshman.
Ohio State has proven that they can withstand a mass talent exodus and not only survive, but get better. With only three games under their belt, there is still a lot of room for improvement, which should be scary for other teams to think about.
