Scarface: The World is Yours

I just got this at EB yesterday (they were apparently allowed to release it a few days early), and the early returns are pretty good! It combines most of the best parts of GTA and Godfather, with some new features like being able to call for a car at any time and lots of interaction with NPCs--and of course the invincible Blind Rage attack mode. You also have to do a lot of negotiation--buying/selling coke, intimidating rival gang members, dealing with cops--which is done with a golf-swing-style mechanism that's pretty cool. Good music too, lots of reggae. The whole Scarface world isn't too big, probably a bit smaller than the Godfather world, but it seems like a solid 30-hour game.

Well, I've been waiting for a game to force me to buy a new graphics card. This turned out to be the one. So after a trip to the store to get a new one I got to play the game for a couple of hours. Seems alright so far, but I don't think I have gotten far enough to make it really interesting. Although the opening sequences are really cool, and the number of name actors in the cast is amazing. I still haven't gotten used to the whole golf swing thing.

I have this game for PS2 and it is very addictive......seems like I have been playing it for forever and still only 48% done with the game....worth picking up.

Damn this game is long. It is getting sort of boring killing guys all the time. Overall a pretty good game. Too much of the same stuff though.

I really want to get this game and the game Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories.

I got this game for my birthday. It isn't that bad. I have just started it though. I figured there would be more action in it though.
