River Walk. Great place to eat and enjoy the view. Head downtown and enjoy looking at some of their historical buildings.

If you are looking for a strip club it is not too far to get to Hilton Head S.C. or you can head over to the Deja Vu that is in Savannah.

My wife's sister teaches at Ft. Stewart. She says the beach at Tybee is nice, not as nice as here though, (she used to teach at MB air base) Have fun.

I took one of the ghost tours, and it was fun. I was also sure to read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" before I went, so I visited some of the places mentioned in the book. The architecture there is fabulous. Just chilling out and sipping drinks along the riverwalk is fun, too.

Officially starts-as in practice and such? We have summer lifting and a couple of camps, but nothing official. They go all out down south.....

Anyway, Savannah is excellent and I highly recommend Tybee Island to anyone wanting to get oceanfront without the traffic or throng of tourists. Tybee reminded me of Folly Beach in Charleston. The food everywhere was excellent...seafood omelette at the Cobblestone Cafe was amazing. We went to the Crab Shack for a huge platter of lowcountry boil (giant pile of crab legs, crawfish, mussels, shrimp, potatoes, and sausage)...great stuff. Also the fresh grouper from Stingray's is good stuff and the entire River front area is a great time.
