I have never seen such a big deal made out of absolutely NOTHING!!

Who gives a shit.

Maybe Houston should worry about their ace closer not losing games instead of a freaking roof.

Or maybe that stupid mountain they have in centerfield that will in time cause one of their players to roll their ankles or knees?

Crock-O-Crap. Selig says it isn't 'fair'. How come it was OK to be 'unfair' the past four months? Teams water diamonds and rake foul lines. Either set a standard rule for baseball that guides when retractable roofs can be open or let the home team make the call.

I thought it was Houstons decision in the LCS, but the WS is up to
'Hair Bud'.

Actually, it is a big deal to the Astros: it's much louder with the roof closed. At this point I'm sure they'll take any advantage they can get.

Maybe it's just me but crowd noise has little or no affect on a baseball game.
holy shit i agree with Thump twice. :p

Anybody listen to dan patrick today? His only 2 topics were Michael Vick and the roof. Could they try any harder to make a story out of nothing? Him and McCarver should team up to create the biggest non-story in the history of sports.

It's important there because Podsednik won't be able to hear when Jermaine Dye yells to him "Look out for that hill" !!
Rowand plays in center, and I'm on record with my dad as saying he will get hurt on that stupid thing. I've been against it ever since they built the stadium......i don't know how nobody has gotten hurt yet. Rest assured it will be a White Sox to break it in.

Why did they put that damn hill out there anyways?

To boot, they have a flagpole on that hill that is "in play!"
