Man you beat me to it. I was going to post this about a half hour ago but was waiting on the PSU game to end and then forgot about it.

Looks like we are going to have one hell of a conference this year. Even know Purdon't misses us and scUM I still think they lose 2 games.

Yep, a good day. I was impressed to see a depleted Wisconsin squad outscore a legitimately quality BGSU team. I still want to see what some of the B10 teams, like Mich. St., Iowa, and PSU, do against some stiffer competition.

Illinois was the toughest win. they were down 27-7 at home to Rutgers, and then with a few minutes left, they blocked a FG that would have put SUNJ up 30-20. They tied it late, and then won 33-30 in OT.

Indiana won 20-13 last night. There was a play in the 4th quarter where an Indiana guy ripped the helmet off the ballcarrier, who ended up going another 40 or so yards to the end zone. That would have tied the game, but the refs were required to blow the whistle to protect the guy. I need to see the replay again to see if he would have scored without the whistle. If so, that was a real tough break.

B12 is looking weak indeed. OU lost to TCU, A&M is struggeling mightily with a sorry Clemson team and there were some pretty shakey wins by Nebraska, KSU and the other OSU.

After we whip Texas the will have the best chance they ever will get to actually win the conference for the 1st time under Brown.

As always, give or take, it comes down to the B10 and SEC as the top to bottom toughest in CFB.

I figured Sutton would be starting at NU by the middle of the year, but thanks to injuries, he'll probably be starting next week! I'll say it again, he fits perfectly into that spread-rush that the Wildcats run. I really wanted to check out Penn State, but it wasn't televised that I saw. Looks like they struggled offensively, but the defense was excellent. What else is new? As for Indiana, that kid did take the punt to the house. They have the clip on ESPN. This is a good Big Ten this year guys!

Penn State's offense was terrible. Hunt had a few nice runs, and the two freshmen made a couple of good plays, but Robinson is the next Rashard Casey, and despite all of the "new" things Paterno is supposedly doing (like playing freshmen) it is clear that no matter how bad Robinson is (he turned it over 3 times)...no Morelli.

The D scored a TD and set up another.

Yeah I saw where Nebraska stuggled with Maine. I think that the Big XII should only be rated above the Big Least and that is only b/c they have Texas.

I know that some of the competition for the lower tier teams hasnt been that great but the big Ten has only lost 5 games.

Texas #2 team
Notre Dame (they own the wolves)
ISU (They own the hawks)
Cal (ILL. gave them a run for their money)
ASU (they are tough)

I am not sure if ISU is ranked or was ranked but eveyother team that the Big Ten has lost to was ranked and some ranked pretty high.

I think the Big Ten is going to be a war to see who comes out on top.

Anyone think there are easy conference wins anymore?

Better not...this is a deep, deep league.

Agree but you can't honestly say we as a conference look as strong as the SEC at this point. The triple whammy last week really fucked the B10 for quality wins/sos or whatever they are calling it this year.
