Rock on the Range 2010

OSUScoonie12

Hall of Fame
Once again, Rock on the Range is back in Columbus at Crew Stadium this coming weekend May 22 and May 23. Anyone else from here going? This is my 4th year of going, i've been to every single one.

If you are a rock fan from Columbus and not going, your missing out on a very good time. Below is a link to the lineup and website.

ROTR 2010

I've actually seen about 10 of the bands that will be there this year, but i love going. I'm actually gonna be down on the field this year with 10,000 other people; finally got the money to buy field instead of stands. This concert is fastly becoming the premier rock concert in the country and is only getting bigger.

I'd be interested in Killswitch Engage and the Deftones.. but aside from that, I'd probably rather sit at my apartment and stare at the wall. :tongue2:

Killswitch is damn good live, especially in the proper environment Howard sounds awesome.

Deftones - eh, wouldn't mind.

Mushroomhead, saw them when I was younger (Jmann was still in the group)

Seen Taproot - weren't bad.

Anberlin has a couple good songs, same goes for Seether.

Coheed I'd love to see live though.

Yea i'm actually pretty excited to see Limp Bizkit. Other ones i really want to see are Bullet for my Valentine, Rob Zombie, Sevendust, Skillet, Apocolyptica, Halestorm and Adelita's Way. Besides those, i've seen everyone else on the main stages and are all very good live. The other side stage bands i really don't care much about.

The only reason Taproot is here is because Cold backed out. I saw Cold before and would've loved to see them again.

I saw Limp Bizkit in the Horseshoe when they played before Metallica. They were actually not a bad live show. They dropped off the face of the earth soon after that. Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Mudvayne were awesome at that show, but the Deftones were nothing exciting.

I saw Mudvyane twice back around 2002-03ish. Once at the Horseshoe and once at the Newport. They were great both times but being in a smaller venue like the Newport was really awesome. I eventually lost interest in their music, but even today I'd go see them live even though I haven't heard them in years. I ran into them on High Street the afternoon before the Newport show and they were pretty cool dudes too.

I was at the same show... The Deftones definitely sucked compared to the other bands. I've always liked Mudvayne
