QB Quinn Ewers (transfer to Texas)

Again, he only came here to cash in on the NIL (it's not legal for a HS kid to do it in Texas). He never had any intention of staying here. Kid played the system pretty well. I expect to see him announce for Texas in the near future. No need to get anyone's panties in a wad, he was only here for 4 months.
I don't believe this is true at all. He wanted to be the guy here. It just didn't work out as soon as he would have liked.

If he wasn’t in it mostly to cash in his NIL money as soon as possible than his decision to enroll early was not very smart.

He either made a bad decision or he wanted some quick cash. I don’t see how it’s not one or the other.

His decision to enroll early was 100% NIL based. His decision to come to Ohio State was not.

And, in what world was it bad? Because it's not what we wanted?

In what world was it good for Ohio State?
Who said it was good for Ohio State? Who said it was bad for Ohio State?

It's just an event that happened. It had zero malice involved, and yet some people need to make it out to be this thing that it's not. He picked Ohio State because he wanted to play at Ohio State. He came here early because someone was going to pay him a fortune. He's leaving because he sees he won't be QB1 at Ohio State as quickly as he can be at a different college.

Where's the harm to OSU? Where's the harm to the fans? Why gripe about it?

Not griping, but don’t see it in the same light as you do.

He made a shit ton of NIL cash and got a free ride to school and did what? NADA…..sort of like a majority of the people I work with

We all wish we could have done that…
