I've bitched about his use of this word for years, basically since his fellatio of Oregon under Chip Kelly. It is meaningless without context.

Well played, Herbie.

Last weekend, offensive lineman and five-star recruit Jackson Carman visited Ohio State. On Monday, he made the fairly benign comment that he would like to see Dwayne Haskins, Jr. get some playing time. On Tuesday, Kirk Herbstreit chided him for it and doubled down when someone suggested that football recruits should be able to voice football opinions. Carman responded by suggesting that maybe he didn’t want to play for Ohio State after all. And finally, today, Carman confirmed that he viewed Herbstreit as a sheep after someone asked him what he’d meant by retweeting “lions don’t worry about the opinion of sheep.”

If anything he was defending OSU... the guy can't win. I love his over used words and he's an easy target to make fun of for them but literally the guy can't win with buckeye fans haha.

I take his side over Carman. In fact the interaction has totally turned me off and I now could care less where he goes.

certainly I would... I follow recruiting very closely in the off season to help pass time.

Even before this I have cared less were Jackson ends up to be honest but this just cements it for me. His almost aggravation with people who assume he's going to OSU is odd to me because that's your state school and if he's that upset with people assuming then just commit somewhere to put it all to rest. Don't care if it's Clemson or USC because like all offensive lineman he'll take some time to develop.

anyways... tempo, making plays in space, frosted tips... etc

Herbie is an idiot...responding to 17 year old kids on twitter is beyond immature...

However the responses from the kid in question reveals as much about himself and why

based on what i have witnessed i agree 100% and think this speaks more about the kid than it does Frosty Tips. I have been on the record as saying the kid's talent doesn't outweigh the sideshow he brings to the table. Twice last season he got hit with multiple peronal fouls and unsportmanlike penalties and had to have his hand held by Krause (head coach at Fairfield) to apologize for his antics to players and opposing coaches. We are not talking about playing nasty to the whistle...we are talking about cheap shots ans crotch grabbing and trying to fight coaches. It is way too easy to get in this kid's head to unbance him. Just my opinion.
